Full Moon & Lunar Eclipse

One of the things I love about astrology and following what is going on with the planets is that it brings back the magic ingredients to the mundane world. This Friday 10/02/2017 is the "Snow Moon" full moon lunar eclipse.

Earth will pass between the Sun and the Moon and open up a powerful manifesting portal that will continue to be open until the upcoming Solar Eclipse on the 26th of this month. That's right a lunar eclipse and then a solar eclipse.

The Lunar Eclipses promote change. This is an important time to focus on the good changes you want to create in your life. The full moon promotes letting go of old patterns that no longer serve your highest self. Combine these two and you have a very good recipe for manifesting the change you want to see and be in your life. Because this is a Leo Full Moon combined with the Lunar Eclipse, there is even more opportunity to manifest personal growth and abundance.

Again, this is a wonderful time to turn off the negative news, and embrace things that make you feel light hearted and good about yourself and the world around you. Focus on new exciting projects, or hang out with people who inspire you. Embrace gratitude and creativity.

For all you Orb Lovers

Because of the digital age, Orbs have become a common anomaly (Ya I know crazy oxymoron).  There is something about the digital film that allows the orbs to be clearly seen. To understand the technical reasons for this, I suggest you go look it up. lol.  At this moment, I'm just interested in  sharing my very cool photos with you.

When November's Super Moon came upon us, I was so excited and just had to go take a picture of it. It was a strange moment actually because I was doing some baking and I just stopped. I turned off everything,  grabbed my camera and headed out the door.

Due to the moon just beginning to rise from the horizon, I wasn't able to see the moon because there were too many things in the way. Therefore, I just began meandering around the streets to find a good opening that allowed me a peek at the moon. I was hoping to get the early rise shot so that I was able to have a point of reference to catch the size of it. So there I was wandering around the city streets of my neighborhood, in the dark and alone. But the thing was, I didn't feel alone. I felt guided right from that moment I was in the kitchen shutting down my baking project. But as usual, I just shrugged the feeling off and focused on getting a couple of decent shots.

That night when I looked at the photos, I was amused by the beautiful blue and green orbs that were in some of the photos. And as usual, I just thought, "how interesting", and moved on to other things.

As December came, I was very involved with using meditation to connect with the higher self and my Angel guide. Now, I don't want to give it all away here because this became so interesting that I included it as a last minute entry in my book Flight Of The White Crow, but it seems there was a connection to this green/blue orb and me.

During the last full moon of the year, I again went out to take photos of the moon. This time I stayed at home and took the pictures from the back yard. The next morning when I had looked at the pictures I was shocked to see that some of them, not all of them, had the same orb as the last full moon.

And here is the really cool part of the story...I discovered my guardian angel is connected with the moon...and her colour is blue. Just love this !  Life truly is a magical journey.

And to make the story even more interesting...I found out I wasn't the only person having this blue orb show up. I was really surprised to see someone else had posted similar photos on a private group chat. This person was equally thrilled.

Top two photo were taken on November 13th, 2016. You can see the orb in #1 but there is not an orb in #2. I wanted to show you this so you can see there is nothing on my camera lens.

The next three photos were taken on December 14, 2016. Photo #3 is an awesome full moon picture with the orb. Photo #4 also has the blue orb but you can see that it is in a different location. And Photo #5 shows the moon through the tree and the orb can be seen peeking from behind the tree.

Happy Lunar New Year !!!!!!!!

The Year of the Fire Rooster.
This is a year of getting grounded and making some calculated plans to move forward with. It is a year where you need to plug into your intuition and instincts. Although the rooster is male, it is surrounded by feminine energy.
The rooster is the animal that gives the Wake Up call to all those on the farm. This is the year to wake up to what is going on around you and within you. What do you want out of your life? Who do you want to surround yourself with?  Become the leader you need to be.  It is time to wake up and make decisions by thoughtful observation and intuition. Balancing that masculine and feminine energy. The rooster is both strong and beautiful.

Flight Of The White Crow

I just received the first copy of Flight Of The White Crow and can now do the last edit of the book. One thing I have learned about creating books is that there are always some kind of a flaw in the book even after all those great overviews of editing the paper and on line format. Although the book looks fantastic there are a few cosmetic adjustments that need to be taken care of before I unleash it to the world.
So here is a sneak peak of the book cover. This picture covers the front and the back of the book. I took the photograph and then did a few Photoshop adjustments to the picture. That is the real sky and real birds, although I did turn one crow white.

Mending

I hope everyone’s January is off to a decent start. When the first of the year rolls in, I actually slow right down. I don’t see the sense in rushing. There always seems to be a lull in the energy for the first two weeks of January and this year seemed no different. Astrology wise speaking, the energy flow doesn’t really pick up until the third week of the month anyways. And honestly that works fine by me. I love this quiet time after the bustling holidays are over when the kids go back to school and the frozen weather makes us adults want to hibernate.  I take this time to contemplate life at a deeper level. To review the last year and what changes I would make. And then I think about what direction I would like to move towards. This Capricorn influence is great for being strategic and focused. And I would like to think that I have used this time wisely with great strides forward.

One of the powerful thoughts that I have been churning over and over for the past few months, “let go of what no longer works for you”, has had me stumped. It isn’t like I had no idea of what wasn’t working for me, it just seemed like there was too much that wasn’t working for me. Lol  And I didn’t know how to narrow it down.

It wasn’t until very recently that I fully understood what it was that I needed to let go of. It wasn’t something from the outside world. It was something rooted in the world within me. It is incredibly simple and yet an exhausting task to fully complete. My discovery led me to this mantra. “My suffering no longer serves me.”  Seems simple right? Yeah well to put it into material form it is like a file system with thousands of stories within it. But our inner intuition and spirit is quite incredible. For this past year I have been slowly but surely deleting the emotional connections to each story. And it wasn’t until recently that I saw the big picture in this.

This morning as I sat in contemplation of this thought, “my suffering no longer serves me”, I pulled a card from the Wisdom of the Oracle deck. It was card 52...MENDING...Forgiveness, Healing, Making Amends. It says, “Each time we are hurt and allow the hurt to pass through us without understanding and integration, we accumulate an unwanted burden. This keeps us chained to the very things we need to heal: the pain, the memories, the echos of resentment, and the arguments that we rehearse over and over. Now is the time for mending rifts, healing wounds, and letting go of the old hurts in order to claim your power. Set yourself free.

How beautiful is that. Of course this doesn’t mean to go up to all the people of your past, but rather to let go of it within you. And it isn’t always about the people. It can be circumstances such as the environment from which you were raised, or perhaps a physical disorder or dysfunction. Personal suffering has many labels. And it really feels good to peel those labels off.

Messages From the Sky

These past few days have carried some interesting energy. Although I am eager to get moving on some of my projects, there seems to be a wall of energy that  makes me feel like I am jogging in syrup. So I had a peek into what some of the astrologers are saying and according to the Leo King (highly recommend him) for the next two days we are having a Huge Stellium in Pisces. That is best described as a planetary pile up that pretty much stops the flow of everything. Best compare it to a standstill on the freeway.  I thought this was great news. I would rather hear my intuition is spot on than finding out I am procrastinating. Bottom line is that there is a large possibility that we are in a pocket of chaos for the next few days, and then come January 8th, we get to begin our forward movement. As scary as that is for some people...I love it. I love the opportunity to throw a blanket over my head and just feel, think and simply be. I have a ton of work to do and have a tendency to rush forward, and blunder as I do. This will make me re-visit my ideas and carefully make small steps to move forward.

With that said, I wanted to share something special with all of you.  Because we do not have a high fence, I must accompany my dogs outside when they have to visit the peeing post. As I stood outside there was an intense sound of birds. I looked over to the grand tree line and saw a massive flock of birds. This is the same group of trees where I had taken photos of the death of crows.
After getting the dogs back into the house, I grabbed my camera and ran out to the front of the house where I could get a better photo opportunity. Meanwhile, I am still in my pj's. lol. Going with the flow remember. At the time, I thought that perhaps they were sparrows. They were too high up for me to see clearly and moving too quickly when they were just above me. Then I noticed there was no one else on the street. No cars going bye. No people walking around. No one checking out the crazy lady in her pj's. It was completely quiet except for the echoing sound of these birds which was a massive squawking notice. I was in awe of how a person could be in the middle of a large city yet share a private moment with hundreds birds. How is that possible? How is it possible that the world can stand still so one soul can have a lovely experience. Personal paradigms are magical indeed.

Once I downloaded my photos, I was able to see the birds more clearly and was pleasantly surprised to see they are Waxwings. I think it would be correct to call them Cedar Waxwings. Although they are browner under body, I think this is due to it being winter.

My personal message to everyone for this week is to pause and take notice of what is around you. Life does not need to be chaotic to have motion. The Waxwings remind us to co-operate with life and those around you. Sharing, caring, and knowing that life is plentiful when you find your flow.
